Versa 3 won't sync with my Huawei P30 phone

I  bought myself a Versa 3. I had enough Discovery points (my medical aid) to pay for it but now it just doesnt see my phone.  It synced on July 1 when I first started it up but since then, no matter what I do, it cant find my phone.  I have 10 days of workouts on the Versa and no way of logging it.  So frustrating.  My phone is a Huewea P30 and it picked it up on the day I first paired the two but now it just can't find my phone.  Its very demotivating and all my 60 minute walks and 60 minute runs seem for naught.  I have tried every help suggestion on the Fitbit site to get them to pari but its just not happening.  I have uninstalled the app from my phone and reinstalled but it doesnt make any difference.  I am waiting to move to my Samsung Galaxy A32 device but too nervous, until I can work out why its not working with my current phone.  My current phone has been upgraded to Android 12 so its not old technology.  I'm a plug and play person and all this fiddling around with little success is so annoying.

As a first approach, please make sure that your Huawei P30 meets the requirements listed here.

If your phone does meet the requirements, see Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?

On a side note, please know that since you're an Android user you can't use MobileTrack in addition to a Fitbit device. For more information about MobileTrack, see How do I use Fitbit MobileTrack?

If you have MobileTrack linked to your Fitbit account you'll need to remove it in order to set up the Fitbit device and get back on track. For instructions, see How do I set up my Fitbit device?
