Got a Versa 3 as a Christmas gift, everything seems to be working fine, except for the breathing rate.

 

I have been wearing continuously for 12 day, and have yet to get a breathing rate record.

 

From checking the forum, this seems to be a relatively common issue.

 

Any advice?

Quite laughable really.

Firmware update just over a week ago, and low and behold the breathing rate worked..........for one day, then back to nothing.

Yesterday, software update and low and behold the breathing rate shows another value.........for one day, then nothing.

Maybe rather than fix the function that you have been saying you are aware of for years, and are apparently fixing, you could just update the software on a daily basis, and I'll get a daily recording of these values.

I think i have now had 6.....might be 5 reading in 9 months of owning my Versa 3.

My Versa 3 barely tracks anything but my heart rate. I've double checked that it's all enabled and should be recording but it doesn't. I've got a few spo2 recordings but never a skin temp or breathing rate, or sleep tracking after wearing it for several months consecutive besides charging.

To be honest, I've stopped reading or posting as Fitbit clearly are not going to fix any of the issues. Lesson learnt, off to some other brand when the time for a replacement comes.
