I can’t get my versa 3 to track miles correctly. I just completed 10k steps and it shows .5 miles. It’s also not holding a charge for more than 24 hrs. My Versa 2 tracked perfectly & held a charge for 5-6 days. All settings are correct. Should I return the device?

Hi there, @Mirandom. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Versa 3. I understand where your concern is coming from.
If you feel that your step count and distance are inaccurate, confirm the following are correct in the Fitbit app:
Since we use height (Steps x Stride Length = Distance Traveled) to estimate your walking and running stride lengths, you may want to measure and manually adjust these values if your legs are longer or shorter than average. To update your stride length, track a run with GPS or measure your stride length manually. For more information, see Can I change my stride length in my Fitbit account?
Sometimes, when you start walking, your steps may not update on your device right away. After about 10-15 continuous steps, you'll notice the steps catch up and start updating in real time with each step you take. For more information, see How accurate are Fitbit devices?
Please note when you track an activity with GPS, your device calculates your distance using GPS data rather than steps. If you begin moving before you get a GPS signal, your device calculates distance using your steps until GPS connects.
For more information about GPS, see How do I use GPS on my Fitbit device?
As for the battery not holding a charge, are you using Snore Detection? If so, please note that the Snore Detection feature does impact your device’s battery, so we recommend charging your device to at least 40% before going to bed. For more information, see How can I use my Fitbit device to detect snoring and noise levels while I sleep?
However, I'd like to share with you that the battery life will depend on how frequent certain features are used in general. Because you're using an Always-On Display clock face, I'd recommend changing the clock face to another one made by Fitbit and monitor your it's behavior in the next day. Additionally, try turning off this setting by opening the Settings app on your watch > Display > Always-on display.
Hope this helps.

Fantastic tips for the battery. Thank you. My steps are calculating accurately, however, my miles are not. 10,000 steps are more than .5 miles. I can’t get that to sync correctly.
