Versa 3 won't track steps while on a treadmill desk

Where to begin!
I’ve had my versa 3 for a few years now. It’s been great - until I got a treadmill desk and it doesn’t count my steps. I want to

keep it on my wrist because I use it as a watch, set reminders, want to monitor heart rate etc.

I spent hours trying to figure out how to sync my treadmill steps to my app - not possible. Tried to sync through Apple, through google, 3rd party apps but alas - Fitbit technology and connectivity gets worse and worse in 2022.
And then I thought I had a genius solution - buy an Inspire 3 with the clip and have that read my steps and still use my watch.
When you google if you can have 2 devices connected EVERYTHING that comes up says you can. PLEASE DELETE THIS WRONG INFORMATION. You cannot have two. I decided to cancel my order and Fitbit won’t even allow you can cancel an order.
This company is a total joke. Doesn’t seem like they do anything for the user anymore. Never again wasting my money here

Hi @Keasso - not many watches will measure steps correctly if you hold onto something, like pushing a trolley.

What you can do is wear an ankle bracelet and as it syncs with the App check details in the app.
