Hi @BerniceLG - the most likely cause is it didn't actually charge - see steps in this link How to check charge cable - Sense/Versa 3 won't charge, won't start or blank screen 

 

The other possibility is it got damaged inside, possibly from accumulation of moisture, and has shutdown.If ti gets hot when charging stop immediately.
