Versa 3 won't turn on or charge

My Versa 3 will not come on, the dashboard says it is charged to 90%. I have cleaned it, tried to restart it, there is no vibration when I hold the button down and no logo comes up. It is close to 2 years old.

Hello there, @Robbalynn. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 3 before reaching out. I understand where your concern is coming from.

To better assist you, I'd like you to please confirm you've restarted your Versa 3 as instructed here How do I restart my Fitbit device?

Also, confirm that you've tried the following steps:

  • Clean the charging contacts on the back of your Versa 3 using the instructions in How do I clean my Fitbit device?
  • If the error "insufficient power source" appears on your device's screen, remove other devices plugged in to your power source, or plug your device in to another source.
  • Try a different USB port or a UL-certified wall charger.
  • Check the alignment and try reconnecting your device to the charging cable. For more information, see How do I charge my Fitbit device?
  • Restart your Fitbit once again. For more information, see How do I restart my Fitbit device?

Regarding the battery level on the Fitbit app, note that it updates every time you sync. That means that if your watch hasn't synced yet, your app will still show the battery percentage of the last sync. Once you manage to sync your Versa 3, the percentage on your Fitbit device will match with the one on your Fitbit app.

Hope this helps.

Yes I have tried all that you have suggested after reading other replies to
similar issues, When I tried to charge my Versa 3 it got very hot so I
disconnected it. I t was working fine up until yesterday when it didn't
show the time and the button didn't respond, I tried charging it, got very
hot. Then I tried changing the USB port as well as the outlet, did the
cleaning and tried restarted, no vibration, no logo. Usually when it fully
charged the lights a blinking there is none of that.
