Versa 3 won't turn on

I really need help. I cannot switch my Fitbit Versa 3 on. I've done what people have suggested and held all the buttons to reset it and I've charged it for hours. Nothing is working. Please help me, I've only had this watch for two weeks 😞

I’m having the same problem. This is the second Versa 3 I’ve had because the first one bricked too. Won’t charge. Won’t vibrate. Totally dead. Very frustrating that this isn’t a fixable problem - or that no one cares to fix it.

Just noticed on the top of the Community page that there is a V3 system update posted 2 hours ago. Too late for me now as I got a refund, and probably no good if people can't even turn their watches on!  Anyway link is below if you do get to turn it on. Good luck!!

I had to return mine as it just stopped working - had it a month.

I tried these and it's still not working.

 

I changed the clock face and I've had it on the charger for 2 days. The app says it has no charge. Fitbit will vibrate and show the logo but that's it.

I just picked up a Versa 3 a week ago and it's already stuck at the infamous black screen.  It's on, my phone can talk to it and it's at 100% charge.  It's even counting steps.  But no screen. Restarting doesn't help.

 

I'm such an idiot for trusting this company again.  This is my 4th fitbit and every single one of them dies within 18 months.  Never, ever again will I waste my money on this product.

Mine was a Christmas gift too and won't wake when you shake your wrist or 2 out of 3 times that you press the button. Even then it only flashes the screen and you can't even read the screen. Take it off your wrist and after some time it sort of works!! Very poor piece of technology.

I'm having the same issue, Versa 3 won't turn on no matter what I do, and I've done everything mentioned in this thread. I didn't turn it off, I took it off to shower and noticed the screen wasn't turning on. It's not vibrating at all. I've only had this a month or so and never had this issue with my last Versa 3, which I had for about a year.

Mine turned out to be a fault and I had to return it.

Mine arrived in the mail a week ago today, worked great until this morning and now it's completely dead. Buttons won't respond, nothing happens when I put it on the charger. I had to call customer service and they're sending me a replacement, but I'm definitely worried the same problem is going to arise since it seems pretty common....

Hi @acverhey  - if your watch is not charging it's often not a watch problem, more likely watch needs cleaning or the charger is faulty, see How to check charge cable - Sense/Versa 3 won't charge, won't start or blank screen

 

You can easily get a replacement charger cable from Fitbit under warranty or online.

 

Don't return your watch unless you are sure it is faulty and if under warranty, 1 to 2 years depending on country law, take it back to where you bought it for replacement with a new one.

After a few troubleshooting sessions with customer service, they finally ordered me a new watch. The new one has worked fine so far.

Hello. Please help. Fit bit shut off overnight, won't turn back on. Have followed all the steps previously recommended in 2021 forums, not working. Won't even charge, although it was fully charged before it shut off.

Mine won't turn on either. This watch is really disappointing me. I've had fight for years but I'm seriously thinking about switching to Samsung.

 

Mind you, I want a watch that WORKS.
