Versa 3 won't turn on

My versa was at 50% when I went to sleep, work in the middle of the night and it wouldn't turn on. It has turned itself off and I've tired charging it, cleaning it, holding the bottom, swiping the screen but nothing is working.

Hi @Guy_  I do not believe it could be my charger as my fitbit was at 50% before it turned itself off

@Comacgre

I've had a love/hate relationship with various FitBit devices over the years.  It seems like some of the same models are sometimes just "lemons".  I've had to have my Blaze replaced twice and my original FitBit step tracker replaced as well.

Sadly it sounds like your device might need replacement assuming it's still under warranty.

@Comacgre - it depends where you look for charge level, if it's in the Fitbit App it could be an old reading if the watch has stopped syncing which is one of the problems with the new V4 Fitbit app. If you checked on the watch then there may be another issue.

To make sure, in the Fitbit App check when it last synced. Unusual things like water getting in, alarm running continuously or a clock face fault can cause problems of rapid discharge but if it won't charge and the cable is fine, the watch may have developed a fault, possibly a firmware update malfunction too?

@Guy_ it was updated several hours before it turned off. I have checked my charger and cleaned it and it's working and is in great shape. Still will not turn on

Thanks for getting back to us @Comacgre@Guy_@Wanch. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 3 doesn't turn on.

@Comacgre, please sync your watch in the Fitbit app:

  1. From the Today tab in the Fitbit app, tap the devices icon at the top-left corner.
  2. Tap the device they want to sync.
  3. Near the bottom of the page, tap Sync Now.

Thank you for your advise and comments @Guy_@Wanch.

Hi @AndreaFitbit it will not let me sync.

My fitbit still will not turn on and I've done everything that I can to turn it on. It will not sync if it's not on and working.
