Versa 3 all of a sudden a few days ago won’t shut down and chewing up battery ! I can’t find the spot to change this! I NEVER instigated this… very very annoyed! Help please.

Sad to hear that you're having issues with your Versa 3. As a first attempt to hopefully get things fixed I'd suggest restarting your device. To do so please press and hold your device's button for 10 seconds until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen, and then release the button.
I'll keep my fingers crossed.
