Versa 3 wont sync to Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G

My watch will not pair or sync to my fitbit. Is there an issue or is there a reason for this? I have read that they aren't compatible.

Thanks,,

Janna

Hi there, @Janna19. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for sharing the details about the issue with your Versa 3.

Regarding your inquiry, please note the Fitbit app is compatible with most popular phones and tablets. To set up and use your Fitbit products and services, you must install the Fitbit app on a compatible device running one of the following operating systems:

  • Apple iOS 12.2 or higher
  • Android OS 7.0 or higher
  • See additional tips for Android phones and tablets.

If your Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G meets the requirements to operate properly with the Fitbit app, it shouldn't be a problem. However, if you're still having set up or syncing difficulties, I'd recommend taking a look at the following help articles:

Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?

Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

Hope that helps.

Hi there, I've restarted my watch as well as have my bluetooth on for Versa 3 watch. I have a Samsung s21 Ultra and it's finding the watch, asking me to put in the code and then after hitting the enter button the connecting circle at the bottom spins for about 2 minutes and then says "Not Working?" gives me the steps for troubleshooting and asks to try again.

I've turned my display up as far as I can for time out on the watch and even put the display on "always on" and even removed any other like bluetoothed named items from my phone.

I've restarted the bluetooth on my phone, restarted my watch and it's still not working. Any other tips?
Update- I did have the uninstall software and reinstall on my phone as well as a factory reset, and using WiFi install to get it to finally work.

You are not paying attention to the issue, your answer DOES NOT HELP.

Hi @PenelopeLP   - have you tried logout of the app and clear cache, force stop the app and restart phone.

Also make sure it's not a different problem of direct access to Fitbit to download firmware, try with phone WiFi turned off.

Your phone may have an issue with security - see No internet connection

Actually, after having to uninstall the software and reinstall on the phone and do a factory reset, it finally worked. Now, updates to the watch have rectified and issue should I have to do a factory reset (which I accidentally did not too long ago).
