Versa Battery Life Is Terrible Now

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Versa's battery life has gotten pretty bad. I'm getting 2-3 days of a charge if I'm lucky where I used to get about 5. Its just shy of a year old.

What's the best way to improve the battery life?

Thanks!!

Basics work best and simple ain't (yep, ain't) easy!

Hi @alpainter As Im sure you are aware, battery life does deteriorate with the age of the battery. With lithium Ion batteries, the best life can be obtained from keeping them between about 30 and 90% - ie no deep discharges and stop charging at about 90%. I find stopping it fully charging is too hard, but I try to never let it get below 30%.  I would say 2 to 3 days is not too bad after a year or so. Here are a couple of links with some information on battery life.

After one year my watch will only hold a charge for about an hour.  So I understand your frustration.
