Versa Battery won’t last a day

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hello,

about 2 weeks ago I changed the clock face. I realized after it wasn’t a Fitbit clock face so I changed it back to the original but the batter still dies about 6-8 hours later.

I’ve tried reinstalling it on my phone, holding the 2 buttons on the side but nothing is working. So frustrating, I just bought it at the end of June.

any other ideas?

Hi,

I am having the same issue.  I have tried all of the suggested solutions and nothing is helping.  I charged  my Versa last night and it has dropped to 53%.  At this rate, it won't last the rest of the day.  And I agree, this is very frustrating since the battery charge is supposed to last four days.  I am disappointed for this kind of performance on a device that is less than a year old.

Thanks for your response.  I have tried some of those options but not all.  I am have problems with having to turn off features that I like to extend the battery since I expect those things to work when I purchase a product.  What's the use in buying it if I cannot enjoy the features that are advertised?  I have contacted customer support for their input.

Thanks for stopping by guys and welcome to the Fitbit Community! Cat Happy

As @DramaQueenDiva shared with that help article, battery life is affected by use and other setting and actual results may vary. Checking with the Customer Support team I had confirmed that you @mo633 and  you @Jai7676 have already a case open. The best in this situation is to reply them and continue the assistance.

@EmilyVersa, thank you for restart your Versa, I strongly advise to check the tips to conserve battery life. Anyway in case that doesn't help you, I open a case for you so our Customer Service will be contacting you very soon.

Thanks for troubleshooting this issue with us. Please keep me posted with the outcome!Cat Wink

I’m having the same issue. I’m lucky to have my Versa work when I wake up if I don’t charge it every night. I understand some things will cause the battery to expel quicker but not at this rate. By mid day I’m usually only around 70% and by dinner, I’m lucky if I’m over 40% charged.

I’ve followed all the tips, restarted and reset the watch and reinstalled the app and I’m still having the same battery problems.

My versa from sep 2018 worked fine until one day it didn’t. Nothing changed. I’m not using any of the suggested apps that would drain it. Just all of a sudden it won’t even last a day. From lasting at most four days to maybe 3/4 of a day at most. It’s very sad. I loved my versa.

Ive spoken to CSR and they were wonderful but since I am out of warranty my only option is to get a new one at 25% off.

I had an apple for years before and thought I was upgrading with Fitbit.

so torn on what to do now. I don’t want to buy another to do the same in less than 2 years time.
