Versa Bluetooth dropping connection to headphones

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I am on my second day of using a Fitbit Versa (1) special edition watch. Its brand new...

I can connect and listen to my bluetooth wireless headphones at home (listening to downloaded deezer music), but when I go for a run outside the connection drops just outside my house.

Ive tried 2 diffrent sets of earphones. Ive turned my phone off, thinking maybe it was playing from my android phone,  with the same situation,  works inside,  drops outside.

I live in an area with poor internet reception,  but i didn't think bluetooth used the internet?? I always though the earphones would be getting the signal gettin the watch,  where the music is downloaded.

Can anyone help,  this is really frustrating as I got it so I could use it to listen to music while i'm out running in the hills,  leaving my phone at home.

Thanks in advance 🙂

Hi @StellaWella, due to the recent events, I apologize for the delayed response. However, let me welcome you to our Fitbit Community.

I'm sorry to hear that your earphones drop connection when you go outside. Please restart your Versa as described in this help article. After this, make sure that you are connecting your earphones with your Versa as described in this help page. Then, monitor your devices and see if the issue gets fixed.

Keep me posted on the outcome.
