Versa - Cardio workouts being logged in km/kmph in error & Also Run Distance/Pace Inaccurate

Please note this has only started happening within the last couple of weeks/months. When I start a class I use the 'Workout' tab on my watch, at then end of my class I go in to my workout on my phone app to customise my workout to the class name I have saved on the dashboard. For example 'Kettlercise' -

I did this class last night and my Versa has started logging this cardio/weighted workout in

km and kmph rather than duration/avg bpm/calories burned. Same with a boxing class I do....

I have done a factory reset on my watch but this hasn't worked. Can anyone help please? Thanks 🙂

 

**UPDATE** I have also noticed that over my last few runs that the distance log is strangely not recording as it should. A regular 5.25k route is now recording around (or under 4k) and therefore raising my pace which is disheartening as well as frustrating - any help on this would be great too 🙂 Thanks!

Let me help you with your logged activities and distance for them and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. For the first issue, our team is aware and looking for a fix for all affected members. 

 

Regarding your distance how are you recording this activity (using only your Versa or with the phone)? Your device uses the number of steps and stride length to calculate the distance. You can improve the accuracy by measuring and logging your stride length. Feel free to use these instructions to do this.

Hi, thank you for your help. How long is is likely to take to find a fix
for the issue with my exercise? It is really frustrating as it has only
recently started happening.

In terms of my running I have always used my Versa bit carried my phone in
my running pouch. Again, only recently noticed this being an issue.

I am so with everything that is happening with my Fitbit Versa I am
considering sending it back for a full refund as it is still under warranty.

Please advise,
