This is the second time an update has wrecked my watch. First, it stopped sending text messages and updates to it, now it's not tracking anything. Troubleshooting and resetting do not fix the problem. I would like a solution that is going to work. I love my Fitbit and would like it to work properly.

I would like to follow up and help you with your Fitbit device since it stopped getting notifications and tracking your stats.
In order to avoid any confusion on our end, let us know if you have a Fitbit Versa or a Charge 2. Also, let me know what troubleshooting steps you have tried.

Hello Fitbit People!!
Both my wife and I love our Fitbit watches, however they have both went bonkers within the last week! Symptoms of not syncing for sleep or weather and unresponsive to other functions such as starting or stopping an exercise routine. We have both only had our watches for 5-months (Christmas presents). I have a VERSA-2 and she has a VERSA. We have both tried 'resetting" and rebooting functions and removeing them and reconnecting. At this point they will NOT reconnect anymore! HELP !!!!
