Yesterday I sat for the majority of the day teaching classes to high school kids. My fitbit tracked 19,000 steps during this period where I literally probably took 20. It was on my wrist, just like normal. The night before, it didn't record any of my sleep. I restarted my Versa and my iPhone three times each. It tracked my sleep last night but I had 1800 steps when I woke up this morning - literally before I took a step out of bed. Please help!!

Welcome to the forums!
Is the Fitbit near a vibration source like a fan, dehumidifier, or even a computer CPU? It can see the vibration as steps and add false steps.
You can enter a driving record to get rid of them

Nope, it was on my arm when I sat at a desk in the middle of a room. No fans or anything else near me. My step count was off today too. Same thing - nothing vibrating. Thanks for your help!
