I have had my Versa for less than one month and I cracked the face. I reached out to warranty department to see if they were having any issues with the faces cracking easily and they had not. They said it was not covered due to accidental damage. I have not dropped it and did not realize I cracked it(I am sure I bumped it against something and did not realize I cracked it). I had a Charge 2 for several years and did not have any issues with it, only issue was it was not waterproof. I just wanted to post this in case others had issues with them cracking more easily. I have 2 others in my family. I am still wearing mine (at most angles you can't even see it).

@kgaldiano It's great to see that you've visited the Fitbit Community! Sorry to hear about your Versa's damaged screen. As Support explained, accidental damage isn't covered by the warranty so they won't be able to replace it in this case. Still is good to hear that you can still wear your device and thank you for sharing your experience.

FYI - I had a protection cover on my Fitbit Versa, I thought the face was cracked. I recently ordered another cover, so I could pull it off and really see how bad it was. Acutally, it turns out only the protector was cracked!!!. So my suggestion is to advise if someone has a protector on it to suggest they remove it to make sure the true status of the face!

@kgaldiano thank you so much for confirming that your Versa is fine and that is was just the protector you bought that was damaged. Hope you are reaching your fitness goals.

Mine also cracked just noticed it, seems to be from a small chip at top. I must have bumped it but don't remember doing so. I am a 70 year old woman so don't engage in rough activities anymore.

I have a protective cover also, just removed it and like you it is the cover that broke, guess that is why they send you three. Thanks for posting

@Manwithawatch Welcome! It's nice to have you on board! Thank you for sharing your experience with the community. Happy to hear that Support was able to replace the Versa.
@LVgolfer how is the new cover working on your Versa? Do you think it helps? Hows the quality?
Thank you again for sharing this information with the other members.
I look forward to your reply!

The first time I wore my new Versa.I noticed a small chip and crack on face. Had no idea it was so fragile. Guess I must have bumped something although I only wore it about a hour. Is there a way to replace just the glass? It's working and I have a glass cover. If it can't be replaced will it be damaged if I continue to wear?

I’ve had my Fitbit verse for about a month. The band came unhitched (I’ve worn this band since I got it). It fell on the floor and the face cracked. I also have a charge 2 for over 2 years with no issues. I am so upset. It was a beautiful Christmas present to myself 😐

Can someone tell me what they are talking about when they refer to "protective cover". Also some responders say they have 3 replacements, where did they get these. I have had my Versa for less than 3 weeks and my face has a crack. Disappointed that the glass face is that fragile when it is a watch that is meant to be work 24 hours a day. Most watches you remove before bedtime, while swimming etc..... this watch is meant to be worn at all times and yet the face is that fragile. I will be returning and replacing with an Apple Watch.
