Versa Drops Bluetooth Headset 2 or 3 times a minute

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have a Plantronics Backbeat Fit BT headset that I pair with the Versa.  I have BT OFF on my phone (or leave the phone at home.)  I have a Deezer playlist downloaded.  When I am sitting or walking, the music plays, with maybe a short (1 sec) drop every couple minutes.  When I start to run (and I am NOT fast!!) the dropping happens way more often.  I don't have any of the exercise apps going, either.  Any thoughts?

Hello @Bill_K_irvine, I hope you're doing well, it's great to have you on board the Fitbit Community. Smiley Happy

Thanks for bringing this situation affecting the functionality of your Bluetooth headset with the Fitbit Versa. At this moment I would like to suggest you to remove your headset from the Versa by following these steps:

  1. On your watch, open the Settings app
  2. Tap Bluetooth
  3. Scroll down and tap Remove
  4. Tap the device you want to remove and then tap Yes to confirm.

Then, restart your Versa by pressing and holding the Back and Select buttons (left and bottom right) until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen and set up the Bluetooth headset again:

  1. Start by activating pairing mode on your Bluetooth headphones, speaker, or other audio device.
  2. On your watch, open the Settings app and then scroll down and tap Bluetooth.
  3. Tap + Audio Device. Your watch searches for nearby devices.
  4. When your watch finds nearby Bluetooth audio devices, it shows a list on the screen. Tap the name of the device you want to pair.

When pairing is complete, a check mark appears on the screen.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else.
