Versa Firmware Update Erased My Active Minutes

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

So I did the firmware update, and it kept all my data, but erased all of my active minutes from the day! How do I get them back? The heart rate information didn’t transfer over correctly to the exercises. I don’t understand how this can happen. No interruptions in wi-fi when the update was processing.

The firmware update has replaced Active Minutes with Active Zone Minutes which are now based on our heart rate zones as well as our age. Going forward, you will only get Active Zone Minutes although you can see the last few days of your Active Minute by:

  1. On the Today tab, tap Zone Mins.
  2. At the top, tap Week.
  3. Scroll down to see your active minutes data.

As part of this change the way your heart rate zones are calculated has also changed which may explain what you are seeing.

There's a help file on the new Active Zone Minutes at https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1379.htm and a help file on heart rate zones at https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1565.htm
