OK, so I upgraded to a versa a few week's ago. It's been great, had no issue's. But the last two times I've gone out for my evening walk the GPS had only half recorded my route.
Now here's the thing it tracked the miles done and the step's taken but only half of the walk was recorded on the GPS map. I'm not losing any data I think, it's just not recording half of the walk on the GPS map. My phone (iPhone 6 plus) is connecting fine. I recently got a pair of bluetooth inner earphone's and I'm wondering if this may be interfering with the versa and the GPS tracking.
I do have an iPod I can use separate if need's be but I really want to keep what I carry when out down to a minimum if possible. It seems a shame really that I cant use both headphones and versa watch with me phone at the same time!
Anyone else have this issue? (for the love of the gods please, PLEASE do not re-direct me to the tech pages asking me to turn off/On/re-start/wipe/uninstall/re-install/un-sync/re-sync/factory re-set etc, etc, I've done all that before coming on here to ask for help with this issue)
Thanks in advance for any help!

SOLVED the issue!
It was the bluetooth headphones.
You can NOT use bluetooth headphones AND your phone with the versa at the same time. I have had to go back to using my bluetooth headphones with my iPod and my versa watch with my phone which is irritating as I just wanted to take my phone out with me.
But so long as I use the bluetooth headphones with my iPod only and not my phone my versa GPS tracker works fine.

Hi, I've had a look and the thread is mainly for android user's not iPhone user's. I looked into the app background refresh thing as well as the other iOS suggestions and it's all stuff I've already done!
The only thing I can think off that's mucking it up is the bluetooth headphone's! I'm going to try my walk tomorrow with normal headphones and see if that was the issue.
Thanks for the help thou 🙂

@captainpixie Yes. That's why I recommend removing all paired bluetooth devices as one of them might be problematic. Another problematic thing might be WIFI. I always remove it after setting Versa app. Glad it's working now! 😄

Okay, this is probably a dumb question, but....how does one "remove WIFI" from the Versa? Thanks for your help..... 🙂

@captainpixie The most important part is that it's working! 😄
@stellafred Open Fitbit mobile app, tap on Versa icon, go to Wifi Settings and remove the network. Sync.
