Versa HR stops and starts at random times

I have no clue how to fix this! I’ve tried look up forums and the solutions haven’t fixed my problem.

My fitbit Versa will take a heart rate occasionally then the green light turns off and it gets stuck on the last heart rate for hours! I’ve turned it off, reset it, cleared the data on the watch...everything!

How can I fix this??

I haven’t dropped it, submerged it, etc. but I would like to be able to track my heart rate for exercise

@Asiever94 welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your Fitbit Versa since the heart rate feature turns off and on randomly. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.

I'd like you to follow the steps listed below:

     * Please Make sure your device is positioned correctly on your wrist

  • Tighten the band just enough so it doesn’t slip on your wrist. Your device needs a solid contact with your arm to reliably track your heart rate.
  • Heart-rate tracking may not work with certain accessory bands, especially if they’re loose fitting. Move the band to a slightly different position on your arm—a little higher or a little lower.

If the issue persists, let me know and I'll be happy to assist you accordingly.
