Versa HR worked well, the just stopped

So while hiking yesterday it was counting steps and my heart rate. Then half way through it just stopped counting the heart rate and it never came back one. What is up?

Did you try a sync, next try a restart and you may need to do a factory reset. 

Go to settings-about-scroll down to the bottom-shutdown. 

If that doesn't correct it, try a factory reset.
