I had the Blaze for years, and last summer got the Versa. I was hesitant because my Blaze was not accurate with tracking my heart rate. I'd be in the middle of an intense workout and my HR was just barely above my resting HR. I was hoping the technology in the Versa would be more advanced and the HR would be more accurate.
For the most part, it's been a little better but every 4-5 workouts the HR monitor is reading way lower than my HR usually is during my workouts of the same intensity. I've read where the best place to wear the watch on my wrist, the proper tightness of the band, and I've even cleaned the tracker hoping that would help. None of these seem to help with improving the accuracy.
It's frustrating that I'm getting wildly different data on my workout summary's because of this. I track my calories on a daily basis, and on days the HR monitor isn't tracking my workout properly, it interferes with calculating my caloric intake/outtake.
Is anyone else having this issue? I'm not sure what else I can do to fix this. Unfortunately I'm thinking my next fitness tracker will be a brand with a bit more accuracy, because I can't justify spending money on a fitness tracker that can't track my stats correctly.

Hello @aeking46 ! Thanks for joining the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. I am sorry for the late response. I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for sharing your experience with our trackers.
Thank you for sharing the details of what you're experiencing with your heart rate tracking. Accuracy is affected by personal physiology, location of wear, and type of exercise and I appreciate your efforts to resolve this. You can find the complete tips to improve accuracy of heart rate reading here.
If you haven't done so, I'd like you to restart your device as described in this help article. This will refresh your device internally. Please monitor your tracker during the next 24 hours and let me know how it goes.
Keep me posted!
