Versa Keeps Disconnecting from Alexa

I just got the Versa 2 for Christmas and I love it. But it keeps on disconnecting to Alexa. Why is this?! Is there a way I can correct this?

So far so good! 3 days is the longest Alexa has stayed connected since I got my Fitbit. Still monitoring...

Mine has gotten quite a bit better. Only one disconnect since I posted on
this issue over a week ago.

I have the same issue, and I have a versa 3.

 

This started happening to me after google bought fitbit. Hmmmm.

Hi Juan,

Alexa on my Versa 2 started disconnecting again on June 21 after staying connected for about 6 days.  It happens sometimes when the sleep app also disconnects.  And I received Google security alerts after reconnecting Alexa since it appears Google doesn't view Amazon Alexa as safe.  I don't recall getting that before for this app.

Fitbit needs to fix this. Its been 2 months for me with this problem, and a lot longer for more users.

 

I bought the watch because it had alexa, now I'm stuck with a watch that doesnt do the main feature for me.

 

Either fix it or offer refunds for the purchase of the watch.

Still getting this issue.

 

Honestly, this is my third fitbit now because I was allergic to the first and the second one broke (to fitbit's credit they credited/replaced at no cost).

 

I'm really very disappointed with Fitbit.

 

Stop hiding half your features behind paywalls and fix your **ahem** products!

Seem fixed since last app update in Android.  No disconnect from Alexa since 4 at 5 days. I think Fitbit solved this issue.
