Versa Lite GPS distance accuracy concern

My daily walk is somehow getting shorter and shorter on the app despite being the same walk!

Today I measured against another device a 3mile walk and it came in on my Versa as 2.25miles

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for the details that were shared. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know which mobile device are you using? When was the first time you experienced this issue and how many times since then? In the meantime I receive your answers, please restart your Versa Lite and then troubleshoot the app with the following steps:

 

  1. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  2. Uninstall the app from your mobile device.
  3. Make sure that the OS version of your phone is up to date.
  4. Reboot your mobile device.
  5. Reinstall the Fitbit app.
  6. Login using your account credentials.

This began 2 weeks ago and happened several times.However this week was the first time that my maps returned on my screen for how long my GPS was running and to where. And it seems as though my GPS has finally caught up with me in the past 24 hours. Not sure what changed.
