I had posted this on another question and have been told to create a new topic... I have found that I have to pair my phone and Fitbit every time I want to control music and if I pause the music for too long (about a Min or so) it disconnects and I have to start again .. . I had hoped the Firmware update may have fixed it but it has not. . . I have the Fitbit Versa Lite and I am using Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017)
I know others have the same problem as they posted on the topic so I hope this will get the ball rolling
Thanks

Hi @RCMadShane, it's nice to see you again in our Community Forums. I am sorry for the delayed response.
I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing the details of the issue you're experiencing with controlling music. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, our team is always working on improving our devices and user experiences and your comments are always welcome. I recommend checking these help articles with helpful information: How do I control music with my Fitbit device? and Why can't I control music with my Fitbit device?
I also would like to advise that Samsung Galaxy A3 is not a supported device for the Fitbit app at this moment. It doesn't mean that it won't work with the app entirely, but rather that some of its functions might work intermittently. I appreciate your understanding.
I'll be around if you need further assistance.

Hi, Thanks for the response but this is truly disappointing and quite upsetting, in this modern day of integrated technology you are saying I should not have purchased a FitBit and gone for the Samsung Gear instead.
i honestly don't think I am the only user with this issue but as now since The firmware upgrade my fit bit no longer updates automatically and I have to manually reconnect each time I am guessing it is time to switch...
Thanks to all

@RCMadShane @LiliyaFitbit I too have a Versa Lite and have discovered that while I can use the music controls, I have to re-pair it each time before using. It doesn't automatically connect when I have music playing on my phone, and it won't connect if I go into my Bluetooth settings and select "Versa Lite (Classic)". I have to re-pair it every time. A bit of a pain to have to do this. I have an LG G7 ThinQ. Yes, I know it's not a supported device and that's the excuse given if some features don't work properly. I would be interested in knowing if anyone who has a supported device has this issue of having to re-pair before using the music controls every time.
