Versa Lite - Not Syncing and Factory Resetting showing an Error

I performed a factory reset on my Fitbit Versa Lite as a potential solution to resolve syncing issues. I tried syncing the watch multiple times, despite following the recommended steps of restarting my phone, Fitbit application as well as watch. At the end, I tried to do factory reset but after completing the factory reset, my watch now displays a red X with the message "Data not cleared. Sync & try again." I have attempted to power off the watch and hold the power button for varying durations, but the same message persists. It's worth noting that this is the first time I've performed a factory reset, and the watch itself is undamaged. I'm unsure what other steps to take in order to address this problem. Hi there, @AnkitSharma088. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa Lite before reaching out and the image attached. 

Please note the message "Data not cleared, Sync & Try again" usually appears when you perform a factory reset without first unpairing your watch from your phone's Bluetooth settings.

With that being said, please confirm if you've followed the steps below to solve this issue:

  • Unpair your Versa Lite from your phone's Bluetooth and Fitbit app.
  • Unpair other Bluetooth devices that you may also have paired to your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Versa Lite.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa Lite.
  • Once your Versa Lite is paired and syncing, please proceed to set up your other Bluetooth devices to your phone again. 

With the steps above, what I want you to do is to pair your Versa Lite first to your phone's Bluetooth settings before any other Bluetooth device is connected to your phone.
