Versa Lite Stuck on Step 2 of Update

Received a Versa Lite as a Belated Birthday present, wasn't told it was a regift. I have had it for 3 months without error or complication. Most recent update gets stuck in Step 2. After trying on my computer, laptop, old apple phone, and my current phone, I am at a loss as to what I should be doing. I have restored factory on the fibit, I have removed device from phone, laptop, computer, etc, I have Isolated the My phone and fitbit away from other devices that might confuse the signal. Not sure what else can be done. Everything in the "Why my fitbit won't update forum", or whatever it's called.

Hi @DaveH2020 let's pick one device, preferably a phone, and turn bluetooth off on all the other devices I'd they are nearby and powered up.

Also I'm not sure what the step two may be? 

Does the Versa Lite 

Charge 

Power up

Are you able to log into your Fitbit app?

Tap add device?

Choose the Versa Lite?

Does the App find the tracker?

Is there a code displayed on the Versa Lite?

Are you able to enter the code into the Fitbit app?

Does the Fitbit app connect to the Versa Lite?

Are you requested to install the firmware?

Also I'm not sure what the step two may be?
The update starts.
The update step 2 says that it need 232 minutes.
It cuts connection intermediately from the phone and seems to restart.
As stated previously I've added device on different platforms after uninstalling and reinstalling the app.

Yes. Add device on separate platforms (PC, Phones) all in separate instances.

N/A
Does the Fitbit app connect to the Versa Lite?
Yes
Are you requested to install the firmware?
Yes. The app says the tracker can't be used until the tracker is updated.
