Versa Lite Won't Sync or Pair To Phone

Hi all.

 

My Versa Lite is 6 months old.  One week ago it suddenly unpaired from my android cell phone, Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime.  I've tried re-starting both the phone and Fitbit a few times.  I've also turned off and on the bluetooth connection on my phone and tried to pair it with no luck.  I don't get an error message when trying to pair.  It just shows a circle going around and stays in the 'available devices' section and does not move over to the 'paired devices' section.  I've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Fitbit app on my phone.  Nothing is helping.  I'm concerned about losing the data I've gotten recently.

 

Please any advice is much appreciated.

Hi @sfchristiangirl but "my phone" doesn't tell us much about your phone model. 

If android, did you put in Fridays android Fitbit update? 

You say you tried to pair through the phones Bluetooth. But know mention of an error. This type of pair should be rejected by the tracker with a not to use the Fitbit app. 

 

Try opening the Fitbit app, if the tracker hasn't been removed from the Fitbit account. Your tracker will try and sync. If the sync fails, try these steps

If it was removed, you will have to do an Add Device
