Versa Lite Won't Turn On

Hi,

 

My Versa Lite which I have been using since start of this year (January 1st to be exact) has stopped working today.

 

I have been having an increasing amount of issues with it over the past 4 or 5 days: It all started last week when one night it did not track my sleep and also stopped tracking my heartrate. I followed some suggestions that I seen online to try to resolve this such as adjusting settings and restarting it and even restored the watch to factory settings but nothing changed. It was still counting steps however so I didn't worry too much about it as the step counter is mainly what I use it for.

 

However, as the days went on, it began losing power a lot more quickly than usual - in the past it would only require a charge every 2 days or so but now I needed to charge it every couple of hours. Last night the screen went blank (although if I swiped it I was still able to view the menu screens) and as of this morning the watch is not turning on at all.

 

I tried to charge it for an hour just now but it still will not turn on and the watch is really hot to touch after trying to charge it.

 

Please can you advise what I should do here? I take good card of the watch so I don't think this should be happening after only 8 months of use.

Hi,

 

I just contacted FitBit support via LiveChat (https://myhelp.fitbit.com/s/support) and they asked me to try some fixes - clean the charger pins to make sure there is no dust and underneath the watch where the sensor and everything is. They also asked to check if any lights come on or if the watch vibrates when I put it in charger. None of this worked for me.

 

As my watch is still under warranty, it seems they may be providing me a replacement one now. I am just waiting on an email with more details.

Mine too it has stopped working at 16.55 today? Totally blank and not charging 😪 only got it in December 2020 hope someone can help???
