Not sure what is going on with my new Versa Lite. Today the screen went completely black like it was dead, but I just charged it last night
Then when it came back on, the different languages scrolled across the screen telling me I need to download the app. Now for the last 6 hours, it has been telling me that I need to update the firmware. But it basically does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. I'm frustrated because I am missing out on my steps and now I wont be able to track my sleep since the fitbit is doing nothing!

@WtfChuck, I'm sorry for the late response. However, let me welcome you to our Fitbit Community.
Since you mentioned that your Versa Lite asks you to update it, please follow the steps to do so as described in this help article. Once the update is complete, set up your watch again and see if the issue gets fixed.

I have tried everything that it tells me. I've tried turning my device off and back on, I plugged it into my laptop, uninstalled fitbit and reinstalled it. Nothing is working!!
