My versa lite is at the end of life after only 21 months of use, have had several discussions with the help desk, they advise different things to try to no avail they are just spinning it out until the 2 years are up, they cannot get away with the fact that their batteries are not fit for purpose, if you have one of these devices beware it will not last beyond 2 years, just read all the forums about battery life, I will never ever consider buying another fitbit.

Hi there, @Veggie39. Thanks for stopping by in the Community Forums and for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa Lite. We‘re taking your comments and sentiments in regards to our products and services into consideration.
Please know when a Fitbit device is deemed defective we review eligibility using the one year warranty option. Our products are indeed designed and made to last (this goes for each product component) however, there is not an infallible way to ensure that no issues will be present in the long run. Because of this, our Warranty Policy is set into providing as much coverage as we can. For our full warranty terms and conditions, see our Return Policy and Warranty.
I've seen that our Support Team handed to you a reference number in case you needed to contact them back, so please feel free to do so.
Thanks for your understanding. See you around.

"you cannot make a dud battery good by
any of the methods advised by your help desk"
you are 100 percent correct on that one, but it could be the fact that too many things are going to your Fitbit from your phone. sorry if that is confusing let me explain. I have realized that my Fitbit versa2 has lost power more frequently when I have things like music controls, always-on display, and high vibration mode in use all at once. but there are easy ways to fix all of this. just turn off your Bluetooth on your phone note you will not see notifications on the Fitbit. and the always-on display is in the quick settings. then the vibration mode is in the system settings. and I agree with what you said, some of this may not work, and here is why it's not the battery's fault. it's the hardware using the battery . the AMOLED display uses more power than a typical LCD and I could go on and on. I'm just saying they should have thought about hardware and software more. because it seems like the battery was a big afterthought
