Versa Lite calories tracked is wrong

I put my Versa lite on the charger and the steps shows 0 and the heart rate shows 0 but it shows I have burned 700 calories....how can I delete that. Restarting does not erase the calories. Please help anyone

Those are your BMR (basal metabolic rate) calories you are always burning just by being alive.  Fitbit always credits them, even when you are not wearing the tracker.
