Versa Lite can't update firmware

I've had my versa lite for 2 months, had no issues with it until the firmware update. Now I can't get it to pair with my Bluetooth to even do the update. Fitbit sent me a new one after assuring me that my phone is compatible (Lg G6). And it is not. I can't even get my phone to see it via Bluetooth. It did pair the very first time i set it up, then it would never sync correctly. I've done every trouble shoot tip they give with absolutely no luck. Almost $200 for 2 months of use. Great birthday present that now is junk. Totally disappointed, will NEVER recommend anyone to get one.

My versa lite doesn't seem to be pairing with my phone at all. It is stuck on step 2 out of 3. Please help! 12 hours now since trying to set it up.

You have to plug the usb charger into a pc and perform a usb recovery it's
the only way to get it working again

I’m so over it! Frustrating as hell! 
the “links” don’t even work in the “answer for help” 🙄  fixing the problem permanently is expected.   My Versa Lite worked beautifully UNTIL the July 24, 2020 update.  Why isn’t not syncing or keeping the correct time? It is currently 12:27 am on my iPhone XR and my Versa Lite reads 5:14 pm. it’s ridiculous, 

there is nothing working on the Versa Lite.

I requested this device OVER an Apple Watch.... what a big mistake. 
It’s so disappointing & with no real customer support it makes impossible to correct the error and it won’t even keep time. 😡 in addition to NOT SYNCING. 
Whatever is going on in your company it needs to be rectified ASAP.  I will return & get a refund.. then go a competitor (there are many choices to chose from)   Get your 💩 together. Word of mouth & reviews matter when purchasing a new product & more so if it’s electronics. Just fix it!

I’m having the same issue that everyone

else had. When the replaced it the last, you said it was your 3rd have you had any problems?

It's working ok at the moment took multiple times to set up the replacement
but finally got it working properly now

Took a while even with the replacement unit , multiple attempts to set it
up and sync it but all working properly now probably wasted 3-4 hours
getting it to work correctly eventually after deleting the fit bit app etc
I managed to do it on my iPad as it wouldn't sync on my ( android phone)
now works fine on both

I received a replacement Fitbit after mine died out of nowhere.  After trying to set up the Versa Lite, my app says it needs a firmware update.  The update status bar is stuck at about 3/4 of the way through. The Fitbit watch face still displays the message that I need to download the app *to get started*.  Bluetooth is connected.  It has been this way for 2 days.  I tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling; nothing changed.  The version is 6.1.1.  Year 2020 style, I do not have a computer with a USB port to try the suggestion of plugging it in.  I work on an iPad Pro.  Pandemic style, I do not have access to a public computer, either.  I go to the gym 5 days a week and really like to track my activity/heart rate.  What can I do to get thIs device working?  Thank you for your help.

I am having the same issue. My phone and versa lite stopped syncing Wednesday. I have tried everything to trouble shoot. I pay the $9.99 a month for the premium.

I've been working on this problem ever since it was available. I've done everything step by step, I've even had my husband look at it, who's a computer scientist programer, and he says "the problem is in your software". Please fix the glitches, make it right, or I'm going to have to seek legal counsel since I'm told I can't get a refund on a product that was only 2 months old when this became a problem.
