Versa Lite can't update firmware

I've had my versa lite for 2 months, had no issues with it until the firmware update. Now I can't get it to pair with my Bluetooth to even do the update. Fitbit sent me a new one after assuring me that my phone is compatible (Lg G6). And it is not. I can't even get my phone to see it via Bluetooth. It did pair the very first time i set it up, then it would never sync correctly. I've done every trouble shoot tip they give with absolutely no luck. Almost $200 for 2 months of use. Great birthday present that now is junk. Totally disappointed, will NEVER recommend anyone to get one.

Thank you! I tried to do the same solution yesterday. Luckily, the problem was solved well. However, I still think Fitbit should improve their services. It is not good when customers are unable to update  trackers from their mobile phones.

Am having the same issue it just start today I cant even see the time on mine it keeps have a red x and dont sync

Do the update on a laptop or computer...as soon as you do the update you
will get everything back on your versa lite

Fitbit delivered brand new Fitbit Versa Lite as a replacement for the faulty one - I updated it without problems.

I have spent 2 days and more troubleshooting than I can fathom both from Fitbit support and this community. No resolution on this Versa Lite is the most frustrating thing I have ever dealt with. Went from the Charge to this and no longer can vouch for Fitbit. It is a sad day for us all.

Plug your versa into a computer/laptop that's what I did and I got mine to work again!

I have done all the troubleshooting steps necessary and doesn’t work. This is frustrating because I use my watch as my alarm clock, time keeper, tracker,etc.

Did you do a factory reset on you Fitbit versa lite and erase the Fitbit
app and redownload the app, did you do the update on a laptop or computer
instead of your phone...if you did all this then I don't know what it could
be because since I did all that my Fitbit versa lite is working great now!

I'm so frustrated, I can't deal with trying any more steps, why can't I get my $$$$$ back, Fitbit is  really failing us all !

I too am having trouble with the fit bit versa lite. I got mine for xmas, this week it updated I have tried everything that has been said in the forum, nothing works, the fit bit will just not sync. Iam using a Samsung A50, also the fit bit versa screen is a white pattern not the usual blue circles. Please help 🙁🙁🙁🙁

I have also tried to update it on my lap top to no avail. Fit bit.

I kept calling fit bit about the issues I was having. Finally they sent me a replacement. This is the 3rd time they have had to do this. I think with all the issues with the versa lite they should up grade everyone with all the issues.

I have tried for days to get mine to update.  First, I was told it was my phone,  so I have tried it on an iPhone 8 and an iPhone se, still no luck. I got it to follow my son's Dexcom,  and it worked great for 5 months. I'm extremely disappointed!

Exact same problem. Had this watch for over 6 months and no problem until the October update and it wouldn't stay linked to my phone. Another update in early December and now it can't complete that update. I've deleted and tried a factory reset, now the watch stays in the "to start, download the app" screen. Will restart to the same screen and continue to fail the latest update. Annoyed, because I just bought my daughter the Versa 2 and hope I didn't waste money.

Hi Jessica, I did resolve the issue for now by updating it on my laptop.
Try that and see if it works.

Are you doing the update on the computer or laptop and not your phone!

I lost all apps in fitbit versalite.when i updating firmware software it's showing 101% downloading but not displayed any apps in watch
