Versa Lite didn't track my distance after ending my bike ride

My versa lite has no distance recording in the tracked exercise. Just went for a 45 min bike ride ant there is no distance or miles recorded in the south recognized exercise! Why?

Hi there @Lbyrne, welcome to the Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa Lite didn't registered your distance after ending your bike ride. 

While reading your post I was wondering if by any chance you had not synced your watch for a while? Over a week maybe? Did you check when was the last time sync of your watch prior to go biking? If you had not synced it for several days prior the exercise, note what happened to you is an expected behavior. You should have logged in to sync the tracker before you began wearing it.

If you remember the exact amount of distance or the name of the activity you performed, you can try manually logging the activity. To get more information about this, check the article: Can I add an activity manually to the Fitbit app?

I fixed my settings to allow tracking. But, my Charge 2 always recoded distance whether it automatically recognized it , or if you manually started it. It seems like some of the functionality was downgraded on the Versa Light.

I feel like it’s the app.  I went back to 2018 and the distance isn’t shown in the app! I didn’t get the new watch until January 2020.  How do I get the old app version back and get all the details. This is BS!

 Sometimes it records and sometimes it doesn’t? No map. Sometimes it shows just minutes, sometimes distance. What is going on!
