Versa Lite display not turning on

All of a sudden yesterday the screen on my Fitbit Versa Light has just went black. It will still connect to the app, record my steps ect and the alarm still goes off...(even though there is no way to turn it of via the Fitbit now) however the screen is black with no signs of life!! I have tried to reset it a few times, and nothing.

The Fitbit is barley a year old, like new and now it seems to have packed it in.

 

Is there anything that can be done to fix this ? Or is it gubbed??

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for trying some troubleshooting steps before posting over here. To fix this situation, I'd recommend changing the clock face of your Versa Lite. Please let me know if the issue persists after trying such steps so we can move on.

I had the same problem as MrsVDS.  I got a notification buzz on my fitbit Versa Lite, and when I went to view it, the screen went black. I've only had this device since June.

 

I can tell it is still syncing - the app updates with step counts, etc.. I had been trying the new SpO2 clock face. I tried changing the clock face, and it vibrates to let me know it made the change, but nothing displays.  I held down the side button to do the reset and see a bunch of whitish vertical lines instead of the fitbit logo which eventually fades to black again.  I can't do the shutdown since I can't see that option on the fitbit.

Hello @RicardoFitbit  thankyou so much for your speedy response!. Yes I have changed the watch face already and it makes no difference. I was the same as @srickel  I had changed my watch face to the new SpO2 watch face. All was fine for a few days then the day the screen went blank prior to this in the morning the screen was flicking back and forth as if someone was swiping super super fast and the fit bit could not keep up. Then screen blank.

 

I have changed to a basic clock face. According to my fit bit app it's changed and syned fine but my Fitbit is still a blank scree. Which occasionally vibrates randomly during the day...

 

I look forward to your next suggestion in resolving this. Also is there a way I can turn the fit bit alarm of via my phone app as my for bit alarm gose off at 6.45am and I can not turn it off as the screen dose not work !!! Had to resort to wrapping it in a blanket in anouther room for a while till it gives up on the amarn!!

One thing you might want to try @MrsVDS is going into the fitbit app and turning off the notifications under your device until the screen problem is figured out.  I just did that to stop the vibrating notices I can't see.  I couldn't find anyplace to adjust the alarm which is too bad.  I wish the app and fitbit had access to the same settings so you could use one if the other wasn't working.

@srickel thanks for the tip, I have done that with the notifications and will continue to leave the Fitbit wrapped in a blanket for morning alarms for the time being....

Hello @RicardoFitbit My Fitbit screen is still blank. I have tried multiple clock faces and none have made a difference. Can you please let me know what can be done moving forward.
