Versa Lite doesn't have sleep mode

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I am trying to activate sleep mode on my Versa Lite. All the manuals says it has this option, but I can't find it...

It's not listed in the settings anywhere. Also, apparently when I swipe down from the clock there is a "quick settings" button - I don't have that either.

Any advice on where to find it? I can't sleep track with it because every time I move it lights up and wakes me up.

Hi @jessvella. Welcome to the Community Forums.

Thanks for letting me know that the sleep mode doesn't appear on your Versa Lite. I understand how helpful this feature will be for you and let's work on this together. Let me share that the Control Center that includes the Sleep Mode option is available on our watches since the firmware 68.9.15. That being said, may I know if your watch and the Fitbit app are updated? If it is, please give a try to the following steps:

  1. Go to the Bluetooth settings in your phone and remove the Versa Lite from the list.
  2. Open the Fitbit app and tap on your profile icon.
  3. Tap on Set Up a Device and choose your Versa Lite from the list.
  4. Follow the onscreen instructions until the update is completed.

My fitbit app has been updated to the latest version. My Versa Lite is using firmware 38.33.1.30, but I can't find an option to update the firmware?

I have tried removing my Versa Lite from the app and setting it up again.

Hi @jessvella. I'm glad to see you here again.

Thanks for sharing the firmware version running on your Versa Lite and for trying the suggested tips from my post. Just to confirm, was your watch able to update to the latest version after the set up process? Did you receive an error message? May I know your phone's model and OS/software version?

Looking forward to your comments.

Hello,

I just bought a Versa Lite and I am having the same exact problems as @jessvella and your suggestions did not help. Any advice on what else I can try?

Thanks.

Hi @JennyStixx. Welcome on board.

Thanks for sharing that your Versa Lite is having the same issue, as well for trying the steps suggested above. Just to confirm, may I know the firmware version running on your watch? As mentioned above, the Control Center that includes the Sleep Mode option is available on any watch that runs the firmware version 68.9.15 or higher. Because your watch was recently set up in the Fitbit app, you may need to wait until your watch is offered to do an update. That being said, I'd recommend to keep the Fitbit app running in the background so it can sync regularly.
