Versa Lite doesn't track my heart rate accurately

Anyone else having trouble with the heart rate monitor on the versa lite?  I'm beginning to regret upgrading from my charge 2.  When I start exercising, the heart rate jumps up to 180 or more, sometimes over 200, when my actual heart rate is barely at 100.  Then as soon as I start sweating, it loses the heart rate completely.  This is so frustrating.  I had a great experience with my previous charge hr and charge 2, and this feels like such a step backwards!

@dabramcz, it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community. I'm sorry to hear that your Fitbit Versa Lite is tracking high rate readings.

In order to correct this issue, please restart your watch as described in this help article. After this, make sure your device is positioned correctly on your wrist: Also, heart-rate tracking may not work properly with certain accessory bands, especially if they’re loose fitting. For best results, use the wristband that came with your device.

Finally, monitor your heart rate during the next 24 hours and see if the issue gets fixed.

Keep me posted on the outcome.

I'm having the same issue.  I had a charge2 that worked for YEARS... I upgraded to a versa lite as a motivator to exercise more during quarantine and am so disappointed. I've tried contacting FitBit and they told me the same things, restart it, factory reset.  I tried cleaning it.  nothing works.  I honestly think it's a bug in the software or something. it worked at first and then stopped working about a month or so into owning it.  But it's so frustrating bc all of the tracking is off! I wish fitbit would fix this.

Yeah, none of the tips they gave me work either. Some days it tracks fine,
but most days, it loses the heart rate altogether during exercise. It's
not very useful if it can't handle a little sweat!

I've tried this, that is resetting my versa lite as it often didn't read my heartbeat. Now it is NOT reading at all - I've only had it a couple of months - please help
