My firm ware for my versa is no where near the newest and it never shows that theres an update. It's still 38.33. and I never sync to my phone always have to turn it off then turn in back one will sync one then stop syncing again. It's so frustrating to use.

I called customer service. He said that it was continually refreshing and offered a new one or a %age off a different one. Since I just got it in October, I didn't want to put more $$ into it. I got the new one in a week, but now it is telling me to update it and I am scared the same thing will happen.

Connect it to a computer or laptop that has internet and try the steps of setting it up as new from your phone. It should work that way.

I have done everything suggested on this forum to no avail. For 7 weeks all I've had is the fitbit logo on this watch. Very disappointed in this product.!!

Alright. After mine bricked I contacted support and they offered to replace it.
I’ll be honest. I fought with them about it because I assumed a new one would have the same problem. But in the end, I gave in and let them do it, and was prepared for it not to work and FitBit to lose a customer who has bought a new watch every single year for five years.
Somehow - and I don’t understand why - this new one works. It shouldn’t, in theory. And it showed the update failing six times. But despite that it kept going, and now... I have a working watch.🤷:female_sign:
So... thank you Fitbit. Sorry I doubted you? ((Please fix the issue anyway.))

That gives me hope. I just got the replacement ordered today. I miss my Fitbit. If the replacement has the same issue, I’m getting an Apple Watch.

I am going to give them about another week to sort this out before I send it back to Amazon and buy another Samsung watch. My last one didn't do everything this watch does, but it would talk to my phone and vice versa. Come on Fitbit, you were first to make these things, get it right!
At least I think you were first.
