What version do you have? I followed your instructions to the letter and it’s back up but all it dose is tell time and and track my steps and heart. I want my txts and calls and other notifications to come through HELP! This was a Christmas gift

Does anyone know if the same issue is happening with the Versa? This was a gift but if I’m having these issues I would much rather exchange for one that will work properly...

You guys aren't understanding: This was a new device that NEVER managed to launch. We tried all of the tips you offered, and could never get a display at all. It's going back, based on the recommendation of Fitbit reps!

Tap on the notice to follow the update prompts.
The Versa lite doesn't have WiFi so all updates will be through Bluetooth.

Why has there not been a fix or even and update on this since the 12th?!? We got this as a Christmas present and we now appear to have a bricked device that is useless. I have tried updating via four devices (including a windows 10 machine) and spent days on it, but it won't do it.
Support have offered to replace it with a likely refurbished product which is an absolute insult. And because we purchased this in October as a Christmas present they will not give a refund. This is hands down the worst experience I have had for a electrical item and a company ever, and I work in IT!

I can’t download all apps and clockfaces. I can’t update my watch either. I’ve tried everything.

You're not alone and I am beyond angry and upset with this. Thousands of other users are experiencing the same. For me, it's even worse...after 10 days of the watch trying to update, daily arguments with Fitbit via online chat and eventually email (they finally gave me a case reference no.), the phone is completely CORRUPT, in that the heart rate tracker is more than doubling my actual heart rate (my resting rate is always 48-52bpm but the watch is falsely tracking resting at 110-125bpm!) thus causing the sleep tracker to falsely record my sleep assuming I am both not sleeping well or very little at all and the calories burned tracker is telling me I'm burning three times more daily calories than I actually am!!! and fitbit wont do anything except apologise for the inconvenience.

What I don't understand is 2 things. Does fit bit not communicate with employees? Seems the customer service maybe not up to date with the issue? And is it not wise to reverse the update to the last one that was working until they fix the problem so they retain customers that will continue to use a fit bit product?

I went through all the steps and now my watch won’t pair. It’s like it doesn’t have Bluetooth at all!
