Versa Lite frozen screen

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I was reading the message and this seems to be a common problem with the Versa Lites after a time the screen freezes. I am currently having that issue now. I have tried to restart it and it continues to freeze. I can not reset it as the screen doesn't move. My watch will keep turning off and on throughout the day as well.  I do not know what to do at this point but I am extremely frustrated.

Hi,

I’m having issues with my versa lite being frozen on the logo screen too. I’ve tried twice to connect with support via chat and was disconnected both times. Now, it gives me an error page every time I try to request a live chat.
Hoping I can get some support!

Hi @Samantha_R04, thank you for joining us in this thread and our Fitbit Community. I'd like to follow up and help you with your Fitbit Versa Lite since it got frozen on the Fitbit logo. By the way, I'm sorry to hear about the error message you got while trying to start a chat with our Support team.

If you haven't done so, I'd like you to try a factory reset. To do so on your device, follow the steps below:

  1. Hold the back button for about 8 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears:
  • Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds).
  • Hold the button again until they feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates they initiated the factory reset.
  • Set up your watch from scratch and see if it stops from getting frozen on the Fitbit logo

Keep me posted on the outcome.
