Versa Lite has a red x in a circle

I cannot sync my watch it has a red x with a circle saying data not cleared sync @ try again

Thanks for sharing detailed information about your Versa Lite behavior. Usually that screen appears when a watch is recently set up in a Fitbit account or after performing a factory reset, which also prevents it from syncing with the Fitbit app. To work on this together, let me recommend to try the following steps:

 

  1. Go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and forget the Versa Lite from the list.
  2. Turn off the Bluetooth from any other device nearby.
  3. Check if the Fitbit app is updated to the latest version.
  4. Reboot your phone and restart your watch.
  5. Open the Fitbit app, tap your profile icon and Set Up a Device. Choose your Versa Lite and follow the onscreen instructions.
