Versa Lite heart rate not registering accurately

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Purchased a Versa Lite in April 2019 and device is not registering heart rate accurately.  At rest I am registering at 180bmp.  Sometimes it will show a heart rate when I do not have it on and it is sitting on the counter.  I have contacted Fitbit multiple times and they have stated there is nothing they can do and will not offer me a replacement.  I cannot use this device to accurately track my health, which is why I bought it in the first place.  I have done several factory resets, cleaned the back of the watch numerous times.  I have uninstalled the app several times as well and restated my phone and my heart rate is still registering in cardio zone when I am not even wearing it.  Why?

Welcome to the Community Forums @slh417. I'm sorry for the late response. I totally understand how you feel, I appreciate your efforts in troubleshooting the heart rate on your Versa.

I recommend taking a look at this help article , where you will be able to see some things that might be affecting the readings. Also, please check the information provided at: How do I improve the accuracy of my heart-rate reading?

As you mentioned,I've seen you contacted our Support Team after posting here and that they have helped you with this. My best suggestion is to keep the conversation with them as they have the tools to check how your heart rate is working.

Let me know if there's anything else I may do to assist you with.

I’ve tried everything including what was referenced in the article and it is still not working. My countertop had a heart rate of 126 when I wasn’t even wearing it. All I want is a replacement. If I can’t get a replacement I want a refund so I can buy another brand that actually works.
