Versa Lite heart rate not working during workout

I got my Versa Lite last week.  When I switch to exercise mode, the heart rate will not register.  I tried readjusting the band, stopping and restarting multiple times and changing arms.  It takes doing these things multiple times before registering and working.  But at times will stop during workout.  Please help.

Hi @lapa15, welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'd like to follow up and help you with your versa Lite since it doesn't track heart rate when you put it on exercise mode. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.

Please check out this help page which explains how to track your workouts with your Fitbit device and how it tracks them.

In case the issue persists, try a factory reset. To do so on your device, open the Settings app > About > Factory Reset or Clear User Data. Sync your device before this in order to avoid losing current data. Finally, monitor your watch during the next workouts and see if it tracks your heart rate properly.
