Versa Lite heart rate, sleep score and battery draining issues

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My versa lite which is less than a year old has started showing high heart rate including resting heart rate. The battery is also draining in six hours. Calories burnt is is also very  high probably because it is related to high heart rate. Sleep tracking has stopped giving score. So almost every relevant parameter except steps is having issues. I tried switching off heart rate monitoring from settings and re booted the device but the problem persists.

Hi @Badalroy, welcome to our Fitbit Community. Regarding the high heart rate, battery draining and sleep score tracking issues that your Versa Lite has experienced, I appreciate the time spent trying to get them resolved before contacting our forums.

I'd like you to try a factory reset. To do so on your device, follow the steps below:

  1. Hold the back button for about 8 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears:
  • Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds).
  • Hold the button again until they feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates they initiated the factory reset.

After this, set up your watch from scratch.

In case the battery is still draining, please follow the tips listed in this help article in order to improve the battery life.

Finally, monitor your Versa Lite during the next 24 hours and see if the issues get fixed.

Keep me posted on the outcome.
