Versa Lite inconsistently tracking heart rate during exercise.

So whenever I’ve been walking and using the little exercise tracking app on my Versa Lite, it doesn’t always accurately track my heart rate. Even when my pace is somewhere around 16’00” or faster where my heart rate would normally be in the fat burn or even cardio zone, the watch will register my heart rate as being in the low 100s. Sometimes, it’ll show my heart rate as being in that fat burn/cardio zone but then for some reason, it’ll start dropping even if I’m still walking at the same pace and haven’t slowed down enough for my heart rate to have significantly dropped yet. My watch will also sometimes just not register my heart rate for a while before starting to register it again. This problem mostly seems to happen when I’m walking and using the exercise app on the FitBit to track.

I use the medium-sized wristband and I usually have it on the 4th peg while exercising, which for me is tight enough that the watch isn’t sliding all over my arm but still loose enough that the Fitbit isn’t constricting blood-flow and can still sense heart rate. When not exercising, I just keep it on the 5th peg to allow my skin to breathe. So I’m not sure if it could just be an issue with how I’m wearing the watch when I exercise, or if the issue is with the exercise tracking app that comes with the Versa Lite.
