Versa Lite is rubbish since last update

As I read a lot here, the last update causes for battery draining with a lot of versa-owners. I have to charge my watch every other day at least, when active it’s everyday. 
furthermore, the last couple of days it started to freeze my heart rate. Even when not wearing it, my heart rate was still 71, or 66. I have to reset my watch once or twice a day, and constantly check if the heart rate is still variable. Due to this error, it doesn’t register any activity or sleep, it doesn’t correctly calculate kcal and is basically nothing more than a regular watch. I’ve had my versa lite for only 7 months and I paid €150. My previous smartwatch costed €30 and lasted me 2 years. 
I’ve been looking up warranty but can’t really find the terms. I didn’t buy my watch from fitbit directly, but I’m so frustrated and dissatisfied that I’m about to crush it if doesn’t get fixed soon. 
please don’t tell me how to save battery or how to reset my watch. Fix the bloody update so it works again correctly, or get me a proper watch that does the job.
