I’ve been researching for the past couple of hours for the reason the red light instead of green has appeared on the back of my Fitbit. I don’t have the O2 saturation on and can’t figure this out. It’s finally reading my heart rate again and my steps but had stopped that. Any suggestions?

Hi @Minkler - on a Versa Lite you can turn Off/On the heart rate detection, in watch Settings, make sure it is on, and if there is a problem try toggling it and restarting the watch.
Other than that the watch sensors are normally in constant operation even if you don't collect SpO2 information for display purposes.

Hi @Minkler. A warm welcome to the Fitbit community forums.
Thanks for providing the details regarding your Versa Lite.
Please, take in consideration that sometimes that red light appears because probably dust and debris can accumulate over time. I suggest you check this article and follow the steps listed there.
Thanks @Guy_ for your accurate information.
