My versa 2 takes a siesta ever couple of days. I manually sync it and it will sync automatically for a couple of days and then stops syncing. I'll go a week and then have to resync it to catch up.
I just did yet another manual sync of my fitbit. It stopped running on Monday evening. The time is running 7 minutes slow. So I confirmed that I have the correct time zone, I manually resynced using the app successfully and I rebooted the fitbit (I do this once a week anyway).
I am still running 7 minutes late.
I'm OK with it not doing timely updates to the database, but I can't even use it as a watch.

Hi there, @Dan_NC. Thanks for stopping by in the Community Forums and trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa Lite before reaching out. I understand where your concern is coming from.
Please keep in mind that your Fitbit device may show an incorrect time if it hasn't synced or has been unpaired from your Fitbit account. Your Fitbit grabs the time of the device you're syncing with. To make sure your watch has recently synced, go to your Fitbit account, tap the Today tab > your profile picture > your device image.
If by any chance you are running into syncing issues, see Why won't my Fitbit device sync? or if you need to relink your watch, see How do I set up my Fitbit device?
Also, note that the time on your Fitbit device may be wrong after you travel to a different time zone or when clocks change for Daylight Savings. If you changed time zones and the time on your Versa Lite is still incorrect after syncing, make sure the time zone setting is correct. For more information, see How do I change the time on my Fitbit device?
Hope this helps.

The problem with the devicei s not that it will not sync. The problem is that it will not sync automatically. I include the device in my weekly routine where II back up my computer, reboot my computer, reboot my router, reboot my Android phone and reboot my Fitbit device.
When I do this the Fitbit will sync on its own for a day or two and then stop. So I now have a DAILY routine,. Open up the app and select the person icon. Then the device will sync.
Resyncing does reset the time ... eventually. In the instance reported it was still not on time 15 minutes later but was about an hour later. That's why I thought I had a problem.
